Having been in the race car business for more than 30 years and having a mechanical engineering degree, you could say I’ve been around the block (engine that is).
I specialize in all Ford/Lotus/Cosworth motors with a dash of Austin Healey/MGB for good measure.
For 26 years (not days-not weeks, yes YEARS) I built motors/transmissions/cars on the West Coast of the USA, I semi-retired back to the UK in 2006 and of course once the racing disease has been contracted, no amount of medical help will get rid of it.
I really like building twin cam motors, with great detail, also Cosworth BD and regular Kent type engines. I do things properly with power but more importantly torque in mind. Since being back in the UK I have built race and championship winning motors for many historic cars such as FJ/F3/Classic Clubmans/FF/Classic Racing Cars/Locost and a couple of wins in Road rallying using Pinto motors.
I have massive amounts of stock and import regularly from the USA. I have JE Pistons, Total Seal Rings, Smiths Pushrods, Isky Valve Springs, FF Steel Cranks, New Weber Lotus T/C Heads, Alloy T/C Blocks, Saenz Rods and lots more, you need to call me or you will pay too much elsewhere and will not get attention to detail.
