Historic F3 block race prepared. A very involved piece with major amounts of work carried out to achieve reliability. We start with an acid cleaned crack checked block. It is then installed with thickwall liners which adds to structural rigidity, the block is then finished in the bores for your JE Pistons and rings (available from us) and then decked for flatness. Steel caps are then installed including the extended gear driven front cap. The main line bore is then refinished usually to +.015 main housing size. The gear driven idler hole is then bored to size after the installation of new cam bearings, after thorough clean up the block is under coated ready for customers paint. Price quoted includes all the gear drive equipment. (reduction can be made if customer has their own)
We sometimes find a block that will clean up and hone for standard size pistons or our +010 version. These blocks are very rare as most have had work during their near 50 year existence. If we can find one of these a saving can be had as there is no need to liner the block, please call for availability.
